Transcript for Abby's Story
Meet Abby, who raised her own money for part of her time at Beaver Cross
A. "I cleaned a lot of houses and watched a lot of kids."
Why do you love Beaver Cross?
A. "Because of all the friends and the fact that you can be yourself and nobody is going to make fun of you."
What does Beaver Cross mean to you outside the summer?
A. "It means a chance to get back to my friends because I'm homeschooled so Beaver Cross gives me that fellowship"
Why did you want to stay for an extra week?
A. "Because I felt that there was more for me to learn about God, more for me to learn about how I can take what I have here into the year, because they stress that God doesn't only exist at camp so I want to make sure I can carry Him over to my normal life."
What would you say to the people that made your extra week at Beaver Cross possible?
A. "Thank you because, if I couldn't come to camp I don't know what I'd do. You're wonderful people and thank you so very much because it means the world!"
